We use tiles on floors and walls, but have you ever thought of using them as table and home accessories? Love Ocampo, interior designer and blogger behind Living the Curious Life, thought of a brilliant and practical use for Machuca tiles.
Machuca tiles are handcrafted cement tiles which originate in a small town in San Miguel in the Philippines. Original designs have Mediterranean influence, made with cement that is not baked and naturally hardens and settles down.
Check these out:
This Machuca Serie Modena on vanity tables, whether as a place holder or layered with a tray.
The Serie Giorno tiles as table placemat, beautifully paired with vintage inspired china and saucers.
A 45×45 cm Serie Gaudi is also a great looking table placemat / tray.
How about that for your flatlays? 🙂
